You passed the Bar. You got sworn in. Your card is in the mail. This plaque belongs on your shelf or desk.
A long, narrow bar of clear acrylic for the front edge of the first-office desk, between the monitor and the billables nobody has entered yet. Visitors read the credentials before they reach the chair.
Swearing-in day suits it: the newly admitted lawyer finally has the license, and this says so in four words the whole office can read.
